is doing new things among us. He is using this generation for signs and wonders
(Isaiah 8:18). I just heard recently that over in Canada, the
natives of the land are in revival right now. At a local High School, over 300
students were simultaneously baptized in the Holy Spirit and several confirmed
healings were reported. People are flying to Canada from everywhere! Talk about
a revolution! But the truth of the matter is that God desires to move among us!
Among you and me! New things are coming to America!
Everyone longs for a rhema word from the Lord. A spoken Word from the King of Kings that changes everything in our life; and those who truly are seeking Him with all their hearts are moving in power! God wishes to stir up faith in you so that you would believe Him for the impossible. We are living in days were nations are being saved in a day and people are being raised from the dead. But when was the last time you raised someone from the dead? This generation has not because they aren’t contending. We are too into what we desire and all about us and they distractions are killing us. We are living in sin. But just one touch from Jesus Christ changes everything. Today is the first day of the rest of your life! Hallelujah!
Are you hungry after God? Psalm 37:3, 4 says to trust in God and do good; dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Are we doing all that? No wonder our God given dreams, desires and ministries have yet to come into being.
Ephesians 1:17 talks about the spirit of wisdom and revelation and when it dwells within you, then you know what the Father is doing. God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh! We just have to make ourselves available. We have to make room for the glory! We need to quit being so busy and go back to the simplicity of God’s presence.
He is calling us to greatness and power! God is still raising the dead! That same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead (Romans 8:11) dwells inside us! What you do with your life isn’t really God’s will because it is not your life. It is God’s. You must sign away your rights and your will. He saved you! It is the least you can do! You are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). Start acting like one. Be pure! You can be holy! Christ in you is the hope of glory (Col. 1:27).
There is a difference between head knowledge (logos) and God knowledge (rhema). It is the rhema of God in which we find the exceeding greatness of God’s power. A spoken, personal Word from God changes everything! Just one Word is all you need!
The “word of knowledge” (1 Corinthians 12:8) is a very awesome gift God wants to give you to minister to His people. He is using it to bring healing to His people. God will give you a prophetic experience (dreams, visions, trances) and you will see what God longs to do. You can be His hands and feet! Once you know what God desires to do, you must act on it. Faith must come alive! You must be bold and step out in faith! Open your mouth and speak it into existence. For example, if someone is sick with a liver infection and God reveals to you that He is healing that person, speak it. Declare it! “God is healing someone from a liver infection”. It releases faith into the atmosphere. Without faith you can’t please God. The Spirit of counsel and might (Isaiah 11:2) works hand in hand with this gift. Different attributes, but He is the same Holy Spirit.
Only do what the Father is doing (John 5:19) Ask Him, “What are you doing today, Daddy?” Then you will see miracle signs and wonders. Remember that by His stripes we are healed. Grab a hold of God’s promises and speak them into being. Call that which isn’t as it were. If God is for you, who can be against you? God will quicken you.
Let’s pray so that God would activate this gift in you and all the gifts. He heals because He loves us. He loves you so much! But He has favorites. I am His favorite because I love Him more. Love is where it is all at. Get grounded in love or you will be a loud, annoying cymbal making a lot of noise. Intimacy with Jesus is where it is all at.
Holy Spirit,
Right now in Jesus name, stir up the gifts within us, especially the gifts of words and knowledge. We want to hear your voice so clearly. Show us what You are doing. We love you. Fill everyone longing to be filled until they are overflowing. Resurrection power flow! In Jesus name!
