Blessing your home is very simple. No long drawn out prayers or shouting is required. I suggest anointing your doors and windows with oil (any household oil is good because it is simply representing the Holy Spirit).
I currently am using oil that was a gift from Jerusalem. Some say that extra virgin olive oil is the purest oil to use. Walk along the borders of your property consecrating it and placing it under the blood and lordship of Jesus Christ. You may also want to bless your cars, garages, equipment and anything that is under your ownership.
You may want to let the spiritual authority do the leading, you can use a prayer group. Certainly if your the only believer in the home then it will be you. When you feel something has entered and is taking away your peace and trying to invade your home, then you'll want to renew a blessing. If it's a much more serious invasion you may want to involve others that have more spiritual authority. Knowing the history of the house or property can help tremendously, but if that's not possible seek the Holy Spirit to guide you through. Ask Him the history of the home and let Him lead you.
