• The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Anointed With Healing Power

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him" (Acts 10:38).

Jesus was, and still is, anointed with the Holy Spirit and power, healing power. Jesus came to do that which was good. What was he doing? He went about healing all who were oppressed of the devil. Notice, Jesus healed them all. He didn't pick and choose whom to heal.

Acts 10:38 tells us the origin of sickness and disease; Satan is the source of all sickness and affliction, not God. Our heavenly Father wants you to receive your healing, and He wants you to keep it.

You have to see yourself as the healed, delivered; you have to see yourself walking out of that wheelchair. You have to see yourself being able to hear if you haven't heard before or being able to see if you couldn't see before. You have to have this revelation in your heart, on the inside, first, and then it will happen on the outside.

You Don't Have to Carry It!
He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him.

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains (of punishment), yet we (ignorantly) considered Him stricken, smitten and afflicted by God (as if with leprosy).

But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement (needful to obtain) peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes (that wounded) Him we are healed and made whole.
    (Isa. 53:3-5 AMP)
"Borne" means that Jesus carried our sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses on Calvary. He carried them so that you and I wouldn't have to. So loose them and let them go; none of it belongs to you.

Say it: "Sickness is not mine. Weakness doesn't belong to me. Anxiety and stress don't belong to me. I loose them in the name of Jesus." You are healed and made whole, glory to God! You are the healed, not the sick.

You see, when you are made whole, whatever finances you spent for medical bills you get back, all of it. Your heavenly Father doesn't just want you healed in your body; He wants everything you lost restored back to you. He will restore what the cankerworm has eaten. He is God Almighty, and He is greater than anything the devil throws your way.

You Have a Divine Benefit Package
Healing and divine health are a part of the benefit package our Lord Jesus has provided by His shed blood. Psalm 103 says:
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
    (Ps. 103:1-5)
What's the first benefit? You are forgiven; your past has been washed away under the blood of Jesus. Second, He heals all your diseases. Third, the Lord redeemed your life from destruction. Thank you Jesus! Do you know what else the Lord does? He's given you good things so that your strength can be renewed like the eagle's. You see, God loves you.

"Bishop Butler, how can I receive this revelation?"

By meditating on what God said about the matter. Meditation on the Word of God causes your faith to get higher. To receive a revelation of the fact that you are the healed and not the sick, you need to spend time in the Scriptures that promise you healing, over and over and over.

You need to get in the Word of God, not when you are at death's door; you need to do it now that you are well. You need to put the Word in you so that when and if the enemy attacks your body, you have enough power to ward him off.

You don't need to be someone who thinks, "Well I've blown away sickness before, so that's good enough." No! You need to continue meditating on the Word of God; your current level of faith and power is what's important today.

Slam the Door on Doubt and Unbelief
Doubt and unbelief will stop the manifestation of God's power. You must decide to believe that Jesus is your Healer; that healing belongs to you. Whether or not the power of God is released depends on what you do.

"But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching" (Mark 6:4-6).

In other words, God's will is healing, but His will can be stopped by unbelief. They didn't expect anything from Jesus and they didn't get anything, but it wasn't because He had a lack of healing power. Unbelief will stop the manifestation of God's power.

Faith will activate the power of God. Release your faith and receive God's healing power. You can't afford to say, "I don't know if I'm going be healed." Neither can you afford to say, "I'll get healed if it's God's will." If you have a revelation of healing, you know it's God's will. But whether or not God's will is manifest depends on whether or not you will believe and act like it's so.

The first thing Satan wants to do is to introduce the seed of doubt, and he will use anybody to plant it. He'll even use Christians who are supposed to know better. He'll send somebody from way back in your past to tell you how terrible you look. You ought to expect that of the devil. We are not supposed to be ignorant of Satan's devices.

You answer doubt with the words of your mouth. When Satan tries to bring the sickness back, you have to open your mouth and say God's Word. You must stand your ground against Satan and cut him with the Word of God. As you're cutting him with the Word, you're also building your own faith at the same time.

    Tap Into the Healing Anointing
"How do I tap into the healing anointing Bishop Butler? How do I receive my healing?" I'm glad you ask me those questions. You have to (1) hear the Word of God regarding healing; (2) believe what you hear about healing; (3) speak the Word; and (4) be tough.

You've got to hear what the Word of God says about healing. Romans 10:17 tells us, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." You need to read aloud the Scriptures in the Word about healing, and you ought to meditate them.

Mark 11:24 in the Amplified Bible reads, "For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will (get it)." That brings me to the second thing you have to do: believe.

You have to trust, be confident that your healing is granted to you. It's granted to you now, not just in the future. Hope is the future. Faith is now. I believe I receive when? Now. Now I receive my healing; now I'm set free from that disease. In Jesus' name, I am the healed now.

The third thing you have to do is speak the Word regarding your healing. Jesus told us this in Mark 11:23: "Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea and does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he will take place, it will be done for him" (AMP).

If you believe it in your heart and say it with your mouth, you'll have whatever you say. Put your mouth, filled with the Word of God, on the problem. Say what God says about your healing. Jesus is the Healer!
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
    (Mark 10:46-48)
You have to be tough. You can't give up or quit. Many people told Bartimaeus to shut up because Jesus doesn't want to have anything to do with you. But notice, Bartimaeus cried the more. The more people tell you healing is done away with, the more you say it's mine.

The more somebody tells you something other than what God says, the tougher you get. Get your eyes off what happened to somebody else. You can't control what happens to somebody else; you can only control what happens to you. You have to get tough about receiving your healing and keeping it.

    Receive Your Healing Today
Today is your day for a miracle. Today is your day for healing. Today is your day for the power to go into your body and drive out whatever Satan has wrought. If Satan tries to bring the symptoms back, you say, "No, I do not receive them. I have been healed of them and I am the healed and not the sick."

The healing power of God is available to you as you read these pages. Tap into the healing anointing and receive, by faith, your healing. You're the healed, so act like it in Jesus' name. Glory to God!
