• The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. THE ANOINTING---------2

    WHAT IS THE ANOINTING

Very few Christians - have true understanding of anointing. What they have been taught may not be exactly right. They probably know that the anointing involves power, that it has something to do with Holy Spirit, and that's about it.
There is an old saying "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing ". I will attempt to impart as much knowledge regarding the anointing by means of God's Word as well as revelation knowledge.
The anointing is the manifest presence of God. The word "anointing" means "to rub with oil, especially in order to consecrate something (holy object) or someone (holy person)." The anointing is tangible and when God's presence manifests, something supernatural happens.

    GOD IN CHRIST IN YOU

    God in Christ in You

    John 14:16-20
         And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:  but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: [orphans] I will come to you.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
Jesus Christ promised his disciples that he would shortly be sending them  another comforter .  The holy spirit which was given on the day of Pentecost was to be another (of like quality to Jesus Christ) comforter.  The holy spirit takes the place of the absent Christ.  Having holy spirit within gives us a direct spiritual connection with God.  By way of the holy spirit we have Christ within us.  By way of Christ in us we have direct access to God.  Holy spirit makes it available for you to have God in Christ in You!

    THE PRIESTHOOD----2

    THE PRIESTHOOD

Christ the Lord, High Priest, “taken from among men” (cfr. Eb 5,1-5), made the new people “a kingdom and priests to God the Father.” (Ap. 1,6; cfr. 5,9-10).
“Though they differ from one another in essence and not only in degree, the common priesthood of the faithful and the ministerial or hierarchical priesthood are nonetheless interrelated: each of them in its own special way is a participation in the one priesthood of Christ”

    THE PROPHETIC DOUBLE ANOINTING

    The Prophetic Double Anointing

    By joyalministries

In the book of 2 Kings 2 we read of the powerful “taking up into heaven by a whirlwind” of the Prophet Elijah (v.11). He was a man who ministered in the supernatural power of God like few men have. A younger Elisha had followed and observed closely the life and ministry of the older Elijah, and had obviously been powerfully affected by his life and ministry. This came about as a result of Elisha being Elijah’s servant for a period of time (1 Kings 19:21 ; 2 Kings 3:11 ). He served the man and ministry he admired the most. His position as a servant to the great prophet enabled him to observe his life firsthand. Those observations so impacted Elisha that he strongly desired to have a double portion of all that Elijah had. He would have gleaned so much from Elijah during that time of servant-hood. It did not in any way diminish his “vision” to have a double portion of that man’s spirit. Elisha pursued a growing desire to pattern his life and ministry after that of Elijah – except that Elisha was very bold in desiring a double portion of that which Elijah had. Think of that for a moment. There was no one else around at that time that could come anywhere near to matching the ministry as that of Elijah. Yet Elisha had the audacity to not only desire to be like him, but to have a double portion (twice as much!) of that which Elijah displayed! Some could even have accused Elisha of being brash, erratic, or proud in his desire, but Elisha knew what he wanted, and he went after it (it is recorded that Elijah did eight major miracles and Elisha sixteen, confirming he did indeed minister in a double portion of Elijah’s spirit). And God certainly did not rebuke Elisha for his great desire to have a double portion of Elijah’s spirit – He enabled him to fulfil it!

THE POWER OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP

THE POWER OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Acts 16:23-26 “And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
    (24) Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
    (25) And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
    (26) And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.”

    THE ANOINTING--THE LORD----MY FRIEND

    The Anointing

    holy
    If you were to look up the word ‘Anoint’ in a dictionary it would say;
To put oil on as a sign of consecration.
Then if we were to look up the word ‘Consecrate’:
To dedicate to a special or sacred purpose,
The word can be used in more than one way. anointing also spoke of covering, covering for a purpose, also to consecrate, which means to set apart.
In the New Testament, it refers to the Power of The Holy Spirit on us and in us.
1 John 2 verse 20; “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.”
1 John 2 verse 27: “The anointing you received from Him remains in you,”
Here John means that the anointing in us immediately recognizes Truth and exposes error.
We are anointed with The Holy Spirit for a purpose, and it is the anointing that enables our gifts to function well.

    INTIMACY, FRUITFULNESS AND ANOINTING

This new teaching on intimacy, fruitfulness and anointing will help us understand grace, favor and how to receive more great grace! You will find a new hunger for his presence and a fresh touch of His power in your life. In this article we will talk about the anointing, great grace and what is favor? Receiving more grace and power to do what God has called us to.
    THE FRESH OIL
This verse describes what happens when the anointing comes and what the benefits of the anointing are. Are you hungry for a fresh anointing?

YOUR PROSPERITY AND WEALTH IS IMPORTANT TO GOD.

Your prosperity and wealth is important to God.

I’ll say that again. Your prosperity and wealth is important to God.
Carefully examine the following verse; note my emphasis.
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.“ (Psalm 35:27)
So, God has pleasure in your prosperity. In other words, when you are prosperous, He is happy.
    Think about that.
Actually, one reason I want to prosper, and enjoy divine prosperity and wealth is because it brings pleasure to God.
Here’s another verse showing God’s attitude towards the prosperity of His children. Again, carefully note my emphasis:
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1:2)
I always paraphrase the above verse thus, “Beloved, there are so many things that I wish for you, but above them all I wish that you prosper and be in health.”
It matters to God that you, as His child, be prosperous. Your groveling in the dust, worried about how to pay the bills, barely managing to get by, and feeding from hand to mouth does not pleasure God at all.
Your prosperity and wealth is important to God.”

    THREE DIMENSIONS OF THE ANOINTING

    Three Dimensions of the Anointing

     By:joyalministries

“Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses” (Acts 1:8).
“It’s a fresh moment for a fresh anointing on my life and your life.”  “This is one of the most marvelous, magnificent promises in Scripture, and the power of God belongs to every believer sitting here in this auditorium!”
Ecclesiastes 9:8: “Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.” Then he said, “The anointing of God will bring victory in every area of your life. In your work, in your home, wherever you are, there will be victory. And it’s God’s will that the anointing saturate your life. Psalm 23:5 tells us, `Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.’ When your cup runs over, when the anointing overflows, it means that you have more than you need.”

    ANOINTING POWER-THANKSGIVING

The Awesome Link To God's Anointing Power - Thanksgiving!
    by Joyalministries

Thanksgiving is not a "day" it's a life! As a Christian, Thanksgiving day should not be merely an occasion that we celebrate once a year, thanksgiving should be a continuous expression of worship we offer to our Lord daily!

The biblical definition of the word "thanksgiving," as referenced in the New Testament, is from the Greek word "eucharistia" which means gratitude, expressions of grateful language to God as an act of worship, thankfulness, giving of thanks, thanksgiving.

    VICTORIOUS LIFE OF THE ANOINTED

    Victorious Life of the Anointed

    By:joyalministries
If we will achieve victory and success in our spiritual struggle with Satan, we must be divinely anointed. Thanks to divine anointing, God’s people are more than conquerors (Rom. 8:37)!

One of the dramatic stories of God’s anointing power in the life of His people for success is found in Zechariah 4. Here, the prophet is shown a vision of a golden lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lights on it. The seven lights are fed by seven channels, and on either side of the bowl stand two olive trees.

THE SPIRIT AND POWER OF ELIJAH===2

The Spirit and Power of Elijah

    JOYALMINISTRIES
"And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous--to make ready a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:17 NIV).
The anointing of Elijah that is going forth in this hour has a very specific purpose: to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. The people are made ready by turning the hearts of fathers and their children back to each other and by turning the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous.

There is coming deep darkness upon the Earth in coming days. However, there is coming greater light and glory upon the Body of Christ. The Word says, that there will be pestilences, and this is one of signs of the beginning of sorrows. The end is not yet, for the gospel of the Kingdom of God must preached to all nations as a witness then the end will come. The end is just an end of a certain time and the beginning of a new time, where Heaven will be with us on Earth as in Heaven. (Matt. 24:6-14)

    DELIVERANCE IS A SIGN

    Deliverance is a sign

Today there is those who are mislead to believe that deliverance is not for today, it is not of God. Christians don't have demons. The deliverance ministry is wrong for their local church? Thinking that deliverance is taboo is saying that Christ has no power over evil spirits today.

    DELIVERANCE MINISTRY OF APOSTLES

    Deliverance Ministry of the Apostles

I believe that most apostles have deliverance anointing in their ministry. When Apostles preaches or teaches they will stir up demons that are in people. If Apostles does not walk in his or her deliverance ministry it would be hard to establish their apostolic works.

    DOUBLE PORTION ANOINTING------2

    FLOWING IN THE ANOINTING

    Flowing in the Anointing

Each believer has an anointing from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the key to the anointing. As we learn to walk and flow in the anointing we will become more useful for the Holy Spirit to call upon us. As you learn to flow in the anointing we will see the fruits that manifest and that are birth from the work of the anointing and of the Spirit. As you learn to flow in that anointing you will flow more that anointing in you. It is all grace, and as you learn to flow in the anointing, the anointing will increase in your life.

    TO BE LIKE CHRIST

    To Be Like Christ

The word Christian mean to be like Christ however, we see many Christians around the world that say they are Christians that are not like Christ. Is this their problem? I personal think that it is half their problem and it is the whole problem of those who teach them.

    AN APOSTLE

    First Sign of an Apostle

The first sign of an apostle is patience. An apostles is giving from God great authority however, this authority is limited. Out of the five governmental gifts the apostle is one who is most limited to his authority. With much greater authority comes greater responsibility. He walks in spiritual authority, supernatural authority, influence authority, territorial authority and relationship authority. Apostles need to understand their own spheres of authority. Real apostles have real authority from God. Not only they have this authority, they have power to back it up. 2 Cor. 10:13-14.

    DELIVERANCE IS A KEY

    Deliverance is a key

Deliverance is one of the keys of the kingdom giving from Christ to the Church. Throughout the O.T. we see healing, etc. Then came Jesus and He brought with Him the ministry of deliverance. And any believer in Christ can cast out demons with the name of Jesus.

    WAR AGAINST SICKNESS

    War Against Sickness

You may have been attack with a sickness or a cold for sometime. This too is a spiritual battle that has to be won in the name of Jesus. You must know that most sickness is from demons spirits, and that sickness is not God's will. In the four gospels Jesus cast out many demons that brought sickness in persons lives.

    HEAL THE SICK

    How to Heal the Sick

Every believer is to walk in signs and wonders, healing the sick and casting out demons in the name of Jesus. Every believer needs to be equipped in witnessing to the lost, healing the sick, and casting out demons. (MK. 16:17-18)

    HEALING IS GOD WILL

    Healing is God's Will

Through the Bible, which is God's written Word, it is His will for mankind and the Church. The Written Word of God is the highest law in the Earth; all other laws are subject to this Law. The Bible is our Constitution, which is the highest law in the land. The Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. It, alone, is the final authority determining doctrinal truths.

THE ANOINTING IS FOR THE BELIEVER

The Anointing is for the Believer

The Anointing is not just for the few, or the pastor, teacher, prophet and apostle. The anointing is for the believer. Every believer has an anointing, for the Holy Spirit is the anointing that is in you, the Holy Spirit is the key to the anointing, and you are in fellowship with Him by faith for He dwells in you and upon you, and around you.

Oil is a symbol of the Holy Spirit; the anointing is another name for the Holy Spirit; for He is the anointing, and Jesus is the Anointed One. In addition, the Holy Spirit is the key to the anointing. Every believer is to walk in the anointing for the Holy Spirit is in their lives. (1 Jn. 2:27)

    THE POWER OF GOD

Belief in the Power of God

Do you believe in the power of the Holy Spirit? Do you believe in signs and wonders? Do you believe in the gifts of the Spirit? Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe in healing? Do you believe in mighty deeds? Do you believe in deliverance? Do you believe in raising the dead? One of the characters of a church moving forth is this certain belief in the power of God!

    DESIRE SPIRITUAL GIFTS

    Desire Spiritual Gifts

The Bible takes about the gifts to each one of us that are giving. Every one in the Spirit has a spiritual gift from God. These gifts that are giving to each of us, that each one of us has a gift from God. The first we look at is the gifts of the Grace of Christ, giving to those who are call to be in the equipping ministry in the church. Not all have the same gift, each have one of these gifts, or may have two or three. But these gifts are to each one of them, to each one. And they're some of this and some of that. These gifts are only 10% in the body, instead of the 90% of the Body. (Eph. 4:7)

So many times we read the book of Acts and marvel at what the early church walked and lived in. The level of supernatural activity seems to far surpass what we see in the church today. DAVID"S ANOINTING

    1 Samuel 16 and 17

In our last chapter we called attention to the time in which David’s lot was cast. The spirituality of Israel had indeed fallen to a low ebb. The law of God was no longer heeded, for "every man did that which was right in his own eyes" (Judges 21:25). The terrible failure of the priesthood stands out clearly in the character of Eli’s sons (1 Sam. 2:22). The nation as a whole had rejected Jehovah that He should not reign over them (1 Sam. 8:7). The one then on the throne was such a worthless reprobate that it was written, "The Lord repented that He had made Saul king over Israel" (1 Sam. 15:36). The utter contempt which the people paid to the sacred tabernacle appears in the dreadful fact that it was suffered to languish in "the fields of the wood" (Ps. 132:6). Well, then, might our patriarch cry out, "Help Lord, for the godly man ceaseth" (Ps. 12:1).

    THREE ANOINTING

    THREE ANOINTINGS

Scripture teaches us of three anointings of the Holy Spirit. Knowledge of them will hep bring your potential as a Christian even into more focus. The first of the three is known as "The Leper's anointing."

Leviticus 14 teaches that the leper remained outside the camp and that the priest was to go out to him and apply the blood of the sacrifice, bring him into the camp, apply the blood once again, and then apply oil, making "atonement for him before the Lord."

Every born again believer has experienced the "leper's anointing", which deals with salvation. Leprosy in this case is a type of sin, incurable in the natural, but curable only by God. Sin is the same; man can do nothing to remove it and its effects.

    DAVID ANOINTING

David moved in the three offices of priest, prophet, and king.
    • Wearing priestly garments he worshipped the Lord in the tabernacle that he erected. He wrote many inspired prayers and songs of worship unto the Lord as recorded in Psalms.
    • As a prophet he received divine revelations regarding the invisible realm of the spirit and of God’s kingdom. Some of his writings in Psalms reflect this understanding.
    • As a king he fought and conquered enemy kingdoms for the fulfillment of God’s rule over the land which had been promised to Abraham and his descendants. Even as a boy David boldly confronted the fearsome giant Goliath and killed him while all of Saul’s soldiers ran away in terror. It was evident that the kingly anointing was upon David even at that time in his life.

David’s three offices were a prophetic shadow of the three offices that would be fulfilled by his descendant, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whenever the Lord is to anoint you for service in the administration of HIS kingdom, it is not exclusive to gifting {charismata} alone, but is smeared upon our character and manhood before ministry as well. Surely, it is a delicate process that encompasses much more than the visibility of being in the work of the ministry {For some, it is public success versus private failure}, but with the compositional and {spiritual} chemical changes within us for maximum yield in the steadfast counsel {Proverbs 8:14} of God.

    THE KINGLY ANOINTING-----7

    The Kingly anointing.

“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”     Revelation 1:6(KJV).

When you got born again, you were initiated into the Priesthood. Then, there is also the kingly anointing which most of the church calls the baptism with the Holy Spirit. But a lot of Christians do not know what they received the day they got born again or when they received the Holy Spirit because they have not been taught.

    KINGLY ANOINTING----5

    Kings and Priests

    King and Priest

Results happen when the Lion of the tribe of Judah roars: the captives are set free, there is a pronunciation of judgment against our enemies and there is a response to the call for the warriors to rise up walking in the kingly anointing. This kind of promotion by its very nature seems to invite great difficulties. But God knows that adversity builds both our character and our spiritual muscles. The psalmist expressed this so well: I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are right, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me" (Ps. 119:75).

    KINGLY ANOINTING----4

We have a kingly and priestly anointing; however, many Christians only operate in their priestly anointing. .The kingly anointing refers to government, dominion, and authority. This anointing releases power to legislate, constitute, regulate, and rule.

    KINGLY ANOINTING-----3

“You have sat, you have watched and you have waited”, says the Lord. But I say to you, ‘sit and wait no more. Rise up and take your position in My kingdom and I shall anoint you”.
You shall no longer serve Me as a, “prince and princess” in these days for I shall anoint you with a “kingly anointing”, for it is time says the Lord to walk as “a royal priesthood as kings and queens”. To perceive in the maturity and authority of My Spirit

    THE KINGLY ANOINTING-------3

    The Kingly Anointing

THEN SAMUEL took the vial of oil and poured it on Saul's head and kissed him and said, Has not the Lord anointed you to be prince over His heritage Israel? 1 Samuel 10:1 AMP.

The kingly Anointing is the Anointing that ushered people into the office of a king.  It is the Anointing that turned an ordinary person into the king of Israel.  The 2 greatest examples of the kingly Anointing are seen in the lives of David and Saul.

You will notice how King Saul rose to a place of authority through the Anointing.  The Lord sent Samuel to Anoint Saul, an ordinary person.
You will see how Saul was completely transformed into a different person and was exalted because of the Anointing.

Hebrews 2:7 You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands. Revelation 19:16 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.2 Samuel 5:17 Now when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. And David heard of it and went down to the stronghold. When God gives you a vision and purpose for your destiny, He also makes available to you the special grace and power that you will need to accomplish it. God has provided 8 different operations of the
    anointing:

Only The Saved Are In The Lord’s Church

Only The Saved Are In The Lord’s Church

In order to be in the one church the Lord established, those added to it by the Lord must be saved according to His requirements.  In Acts 2:47 we read, "And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."  The Lord only adds the saved to His church.  The Lord makes no mistakes.  We are not saved just because we think or say we are.  We are saved only when we have done what God has said we must do.  Jesus says in Matthew 7:21, "Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father which is in heaven." We must do God’s will, not man’s will, to go to heaven.

    Coming Back To The Lord

    Coming Back To The Lord
There are many Christians who have wandered away from the Lord.  We have so much to gain by being faithful to the Lord.  Jesus says in John 14:1-3, "In My Father’s house are many mansions and I go to prepare a place for you."  Also we read in Revelation 21:4 concerning heaven, "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.  There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."  Heaven will be a great place beyond our wildest dreams.  There are no words that can describe how wonderful heaven will be.  And it will last forever and ever, time without end.  I certainly want to go there and I know you do too.

Are You Being Faithful To The Lord Until Death?

Are You Being Faithful To The Lord Until Death?
    By joyalministries

Jesus says, "Be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life" (Revelation 2:10).  The purpose of this course is to encourage the faithful Christian to remain faithful and committed to the Lord.  This course is also to help the Christian who is weak in the faith to become "even more diligent to make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10) and for the Christian who has become unfaithful to come back "from the error of his way to save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins" (James 5:20).  Jesus is only the "rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

    Are You Prepared For Eternity?

    Are You Prepared For Eternity?
Our soul is worth more than the whole world and everything in it.  Scripture quotations are in red.  Jesus says in Matthew 16:26, "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?  Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"  Our soul is the part of us that is going to live on forever and ever throughout all eternity.  Jesus says concerning the lost, "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life" (Matthew 25:46).  Everlasting punishment in Hell and eternal life in Heaven will both be forever and ever, without end.  We cannot afford to lose our soul and be eternally punished in Hell.

Weekly Observance Of The Lord’s Supper

Weekly Observance Of The Lord’s Supper

Many people do not want to remember the Lord’s death for us very often since they only partake of the Lord’s supper monthly, quarterly, annually, or not at all.  The excuse is given that they do not want to partake of it more often because it will become too common place and loose its meaning.  But the very opposite is true.  The Lord’s Supper loses its meaning when we choose not to partake and think about it.  This would be like saying that we should only pray two or three times a year, for if we prayed more often then prayer would lose its meaning.  This would be absurd.  Does the Lord’s death really mean anything to us?  But Jesus requested in Luke 22:19, "Do this in remembrance of Me."  Do we really care to regularly remember the death of our Lord?

CHRIST IN YOU THE HOPE OF GLORY-----2

Christ In You, the Hope of Glory

                                                                joyalministries

Christian people often put their faith -- put their hope -- in the THINGS they expect God to do. This is not necessarily wrong, for God does promise many THINGS, and does tell us to ask. Yet when everything is said and done, ALL of the things of God are found IN CHRIST. God simply says, "Christ in you, (who is) your hope of glory." (Col. 1:27)

CHRIST IN YOU THE HOPE OF GLORY

    The Mystery Revealed

The Apostle Paul reveals the mystery in Colossians 1:24-29 (NKJV): "I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, {25} of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, {26} the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. {27} To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. {28} Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. {29} To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily."
The Apostle Paul reveals the mystery that Christ can live in us and that He is the hope of our glory.

    OUR DRESS IN WORSHIP

    Our Dress In Worship

Even though worship is not a "dress parade", many times we become too sloppy, and revealing in the way we dress for worship.  Our clothes do contribute to the emphasis we place on worship to God.  This does not mean we have to wear fine and expensive clothes.  But the way we dress should be in keeping with the dignity of the occasion.

Role Of Women In The Church

Role Of Women In The Church

The Bible speaks of how women are to conduct themselves in worship.  In 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 we read, "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says.  And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church."  The Bible says that women are not permitted to speak during the worship service of the church.  If a church allows women to speak or take a leading role during their worship service, they are ignoring what God's word forbids.  They are telling God, "we don't care what You say we are going to do things our way".

    THE LORD"S SUPPER

    The Lord’s Supper

Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper in order for us to remember the great sacrifice He made for us and that we rely on Him and His sacrifice for our salvation.  He gave us this memorial so we would not forget Him and what He did for us.  In Luke 22:19, when Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper, He said, "Do this in remembrance of Me."  This is done to help us remember the Lord and what He did for us.

We Must Worship The Lord In His Church

We Must Worship The Lord In His Church

The Lord is to be glorified by the worship He receives in His church.  In Ephesians 3:21 we read, "To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus."  But how many churches does the Lord have?  Jesus says in Matthew 16:18, "Upon this rock I will build My church."  The word "My" shows possession and that the church belongs to Jesus.  How many churches did He say He was going to build?  He said, "I will build My church".  The word church is singular not plural.  There is only one true church because the Lord only promised to build His one church.

    PREACHING IN WORSHIP

                                Preaching In Worship

When God’s word is preached and taught, God is honored and glorified.  During the preaching of a sermon, the hearers feast on the word of God.  1 Corinthians 1:21, 23 says, "It pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe…but we preach Christ crucified."  The preaching of Christ crucified is pleasing to God, but is foolishness to many people.  It is only by this kind of preaching and teaching that man will be saved.

    SINGING IN WORSHIP----4

    Singing In Worship (Part 4)

Since Christ never authorized mechanical instruments of music in the New Testament to be used in worship of the church, we might ask, when did man "take it upon himself" to start using them in trying to worship God?  It is a historical fact according to early church history, no mechanical instruments of music were ever used in church worship until about the year 670 A.D.  At this time the church at Rome introduced an organ which produced such disturbances that it was removed.  It was not until about 775 A.D. that it was introduced again, but this time it was kept, even with many people objecting.  The instrument was not accepted by many churches for many years.

    SINGING IN WORSHIP-----3

    Singing In Worship (Part 3)

In Ephesians 5:19 we read, "Speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."  Also we read in Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching, and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."  Here we see in our singing, we are to speak, teach, and admonish one another.  This is what God expects us to do when we sing.

    SINGING IN WORSHIP---2

                          Singing In Worship (Part 2)

There are two different kinds of music: vocal and instrumental.  God has spoken in the New Testament concerning the kind of music we must use if we expect to worship Him in spirit and in truth, and that is singing.  Singing is the limit of God’s command.  God nowhere in the New Testament authorized mechanical instruments of music to be used in worship of the church.  A mechanical instrument of music cannot worship God.  Only with our voices can we sing praises to God.  God does not wish to be worshipped with a lifeless instrument.

    SINGING IN WORSHIP-----1

    Singing In Worship (Part 1)

Singing has a very definite place in worshipping God in spirit and in truth.  We glorify God in our singing praises to His name.  There are only nine scriptures in the New Testament which specify the kind of music in the worship of the church that God wishes in order for us to worship Him in spirit and in truth.  They are as follows:
    (1) Matthew 26:30, "And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives";
    (2) Acts 16:25, "But at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God";
    (3) Romans 15:9, "For this reason I will confess you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name";

    OUR GIVING

                                               Our Giving
The way we give is an indication of our love for God.  All things belong to God.  God says in Psalms 50:10, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills."  Everything we have received has come from God.  God has only loaned them to us. John 3:27 says, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from above."  We can never out-give God.  In Luke 6:38 we read, "Give and it shall be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."  We give so the Lord’s church can better carry out its mission here on earth.  The world must be evangelized, and the church must be edified, and the needy must be helped.

    PRAYER

    Prayer
In prayer we show our total dependence on God who created all things and us and by Whom all things continue to exist.  In prayer we give praise, honor, glory and reverence to His name for His greatness and goodness.  We recognize Him as the source of all blessings.  It is also the outpouring of our hearts desire.  In Romans 10:1 the apostle Paul says, "Brethern, my hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel, is that they might be saved."  Our prayer must come from our heart.

    ATTENDANCE OF WORSHIP

    Attendance Of Worship

Worship is a privilege only children of God have.  There are many blessings we receive from faithful attendance in worship.  God has commanded us to assemble regularly to worship Him in spirit and in  truth.  Hebrews 10:25-27 says, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.  For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation."  When we forsake the assembly of the church, except for sickness or circumstances beyond our control, we are not only disobeying God, but we are robbing ourselves of all the benefits of worship which would have helped us to grow and become spiritually strong.

    WE MUST ONLY WORSHIP GOD

    We Must Only Worship God

Jesus said in Matthew 4:10, "You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve."  If we worship God in spirit and in truth, we cannot worship anyone or anything else.  Anything we worship, other than God, is an idol.  According to Webster, an idol is "an image used as an object or instrument of worship."

    Thursday, 27 June 2013

WE MUST GIVE OUR BEST TO GOD

We Must Give Our Best To God

As we worship God, we give Him ourselves.  Romans 12:1 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethern, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service."  Under the Old Testament some of the Jews were not offering their best and were condemned for it.  In Malachi 1:8 we read, "And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, is it not evil?  And when you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil?"  Is it not just as evil today when we do not give God our best?

    VAIN WORSHIP

    Vain Worship

Our Lord says in Mark 7:7, "And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."  When we follow the commandments of men instead of God’s instructions, our worship becomes vain.  If our worship is vain, it is empty, hollow, and useless.  It will do us no good.  If it is vain, it would be as though we had not worshipped God at all and we will be lost.  When we worship in the way "we want" then God is dishonored and insulted.  When we worship the way God has told us in His word, God is honored and glorified.

    ACCEPTABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE WORSHIP

    Acceptable And Unacceptable Worship

God has shown, in the Bible, His approval with those who follow His will and His displeasure and wrath with those who refuse to worship Him the way He has directed.  God has always been clear about how he is to be worshipped, but man has not listened.
An example of acceptable and unacceptable worship in the Old Testament is that of Cain and Abel.  Cain and Abel both worshipped God.  Abel did as God directed, but Cain tried to worship God the way he saw fit.  We read in Genesis 4:3-5, "And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of fruit of the ground to the Lord.  Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat.  And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering."

    WORSHIPPING GOD IN TRUTH---3

    Worshipping God In Truth
Jesus says in John 4:24, "God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."  We must worship God in truth.  Since His word is truth, we must worship Him according to His word.  Here the Lord is telling us that everything we do in worship, we must have God's divine approval.  Truth is not arbitrary.  Truth for one person is the same as truth for the next.  God has not spoken in unclear ways.

WORSHIP IS NOT FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT

Worship Is Not For Our Entertainment
There is an erroneous idea today that the main reason we attend worship is to "get something out of the service", rather than going there to give our worship to God.  This is a selfish motive on our part.  This is the reason people cannot be satisfied with the worship service when their emphasis is not on the proper object of worship, God.  People want to "do their own thing" in the worship of the church.  What the Bible has to say about worship for many people is of little consequence as long as they are happy and feel good.  We must be concerned with what God says on how He is to be worshipped instead of what we might want to offer Him.

    Worshipping God In Spirit---3

    Worshipping God In Spirit

Worshipping God "in spirit" means with reverence, attentiveness, and having the right purpose of honoring God, while understanding what we are doing.  Hebrews 12:28-29 says, "Let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.  For our God is a consuming fire."  Our worship must glorify God.  1 Corinthians 6:20 says, "For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

THE PURPOSE OF OUR WORSHIP OF GOD

The Purpose Of Our Worship Of God

The purpose of our worship is to glorify, honor, praise, exalt, and please God.  Our worship must show our adoration and loyalty to God for His grace in providing us with the way to escape the bondage of sin, so we can have the salvation He so much wants to give us.  The nature of the worship God demands is the prostration of our souls before Him in humble and contrite submission.  James 4:6, 10 tells us, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up".  Our worship to God is a very humble and reverent action.

    WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH---2

    Worship in spirit and truth:

Those who worship the Father must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!!!
"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."--(John 4:23-24)
...those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth...
Spirit and truth, so what is this spirit and truth?
Our spirit is the center of our being.  It is where our thoughts, beliefs, desires and our hopes reside.  And the Spirit of God is the one who knows the thoughts of God.  We must have a clear conscience and a pure heart in order to worship God properly in our spirits.  We are told to be clear minded and self-controlled so you can pray (commune with God).  The same is true of worship, we must enter his sanctuary being dead to ourselves and alive through Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF JOHN 4:24?

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF JOHN 4:24?
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”
WE BELIEVE that the so-called “Christian world” today desperately needs to make a serious study of the subject of worship. A lot of strange, unusual and irregular things are “going on” in the name of worship. And, tragically, so much of it seems to be carnal, man-centered and in the category of entertainment (thus, contrary to the Scriptures). A generation brought up on television is more disposed toward entertainment. Somewhere along the way dignity and respect have given way to the ways of the world.
A good place to begin such a study would be in John chapter 4. In anticipation of the coming New Testament, which was imminent, Jesus profoundly said to the Samaritan woman at the well, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24, NKJV). What does this mean, in the light of the immediate context, and what are more extended thoughts from the New Testament that need to be considered on this subject?

WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH

In John 4:24, Jesus tells us that we MUST worship God in spirit and truth. What does this mean? How do we worship God in spirit and truth? I hope that this page will give you a better understanding of how to worship God this way.
John 4:23-24 ...'But the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship Him in spirit and in truth.'

THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him"  Rom 5:6-9 (NKJV).
Blood! There is something unique, different and striking about blood. Its appearance, smell and texture. The impact it has on the senses. The lasting impression it leaves on the mind. No other substance has so great an effect on the human psyche than blood. Peoples, cultures and nations across the face of the Earth recognize blood as a symbol of life and death. Without blood there can be no life, strength or sustenance. The freedom of many has been established upon the shedding of blood. Throughout history, blood has been the basis for agreements and covenants alike. And God Himself has shed His precious blood for the salvation of all humankind.

    CHRIST"S BLOOD CLEANSES FROM SIN

    Christ's Blood Cleanses from Sin
“If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST HIS SON CLEANSETH US FROM ALL SIN” (1st John1:7).
Praying DOES NOT cleanse from sin.
Joining a church DOES NOT cleanse from sin.
Living a good life DOES NOT cleanse from sin.
Being baptized in water DOES NOT cleanse from sin.
Partaking of the sacraments DOES NOT cleanse from sin.
Committing your life to Jesus DOES NOT cleanse from sin.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS — HIS BLOOD ALONE — cleanses from sin!
“For THE WAGES OF SIN is death; but the GIFT OF GOD IS eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
Sin pays singular wages: DEATH! Christ died for our sins “according to the Scriptures” (1st Corinthians 15:3).
It took the DEATH OF JESUS, and the shedding of HIS BLOOD, to pay sin's debt, and bring REDEMPTION FROM SIN.

THE ANOINTING BRINGS INDEFATIGABLE INDUSTRY FOR SERVICE

The Anointing Brings Indefatigable Industry For Service

“Hereby He showed that He was sent of God, Who is good and does good; and does good because He is good: and Who hereby left not Himself without witness to the world, in that He did good, Act_14:17. And in this He hath set us an example of indefatigable industry in serving God and our generation; for we came into the world that we might do all the good we can in it; and therein, like Christ, we must always abide and abound.” --Rev.Joyal

You ask – what is "indefatigable industry”? It is tireless, inexhaustible, unsleeping, unwearied, unwavering, determined, unfailing, hard-working, and diligent efforts, undertakings, service, and pursuits. In other words, the anointing stirs people to labor. Said another way – if you claim to be anointed of God and are lazy, you are deceived!

    The Anointing of Jesus

    The Anointing of Jesus

    Matthew 26:6-13
While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.
When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. "Why this waste?" they asked. "This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor."
Aware of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."

    THE FAITH OF JESUS

    THE FAITH OF JESUS

What is the "Faith of Jesus"? "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." Philippians 2:5.
Is the "faith of Jesus" part of your home life? Perhaps you have not given much thought to this aspect of the gospel message. Many, even among ministers, readily acknowledge that their understanding of this subject is rather limited, and yet, it is of equal importance to the commandments of God.
