• The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19).

JOY IS THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU

JOY IS THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU

    by joyalministries

The kingdom of God is… Righteousness,  peace and JOY in the HOLY SPIRIT.JOY is POWER in the Holy Spirit  which is IN YOU!

You have this same power and strength of Joy in you  through the Holy Spirit.

This in the Bible it says WHAT Jesus was anointed with…

Heb 1:9 9 thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness ( In the original language this word is JOY) above thy fellows.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me ( with the spirit of joy) to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,19: To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (ALL OF THIS IS ACTION)

It takes joy of knowing the goodness of God and who you are in Christ to walk just like Jesus did.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, (THIS is the result of that anointing) and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

We are anointed with the Holy Spirit and joy. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and JOY!

2 Co 1:21 Now he which established us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; We have this same anointing, We are in Christ and Jesus is our head. The head and the body are the same

Joel 1:12:  The vine is dried up . . . all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. When we are not filled with Joy it affects things around us.

John 15 He is anointed with JOY. Ps 45:7 If we are in Him, we should be filled with JOY!

Isaiah 51:3,11  For the LORD …will make her …like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein ( we are to bring the fruit, JOY to others)

In the Garden of Eden there was Joy and gladness.

2 Corinthians 3:9: We are Gods garden. We should be filled with JOY.

When we have joy in God we have laughter!!

Psalm 126:2: Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them

Ps 1:26 I also will laugh  (God laughs)

Ps 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh

Ps 37:13 he Lord shall laugh

Ps 59:8 O LORD, shalt laugh

Because God has done great things for us we can laugh and have great joy. He has restored us to all things we had in the garden. We can be filled with JOY.

Now let’s discuss how wine in the natural makes a person laugh and the heart glad. It is a copy of the true laughter and joy, the Holy Spirit.

Proverbs 17:22:  A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.

    Proverbs 15:15: . . . he that is of a 1. merry heart hath a continual feast.

Ecclesiastes 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes life merry (The Holy Spirit baptism  is associated with wine)

Act 2:15 These are not drunk as you suppose … but this was what Joel prophesied

God wants us to laugh and be joyful. Vines (Jesus is the vine and we are the branches John 15:1-5) create grapes that make wine. The Holy Spirit is related to wine in the Bible. The Holy Spirit has joy and laughter. Communion is representative of wine. The Bible says wine is to make the heart glad. Can you see how God pulls it all together? God wants us to be joyful.  The world gets drunk to forget problems and have a good time. That is a COPY of what God has for us. We are to get drunk in the Holy Spirit! Everything God has for us the devil copies and twist.

Psalm 104:15:  And wine that makes glad the heart of man . . .( wine is the worlds imitations of being filled with the Holy Spirit)

Ecc 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry:

    Acts 2:1, 13, 15, & 16:  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost . . . . 13: Others mocking said, these men are full of new wine.( Luke 5:36  new wine for new wine skins so we could be filled with the Holy Spirit). 15: these are not drunken, as ye suppose… 16: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; . . .Ephesians 5:16 & 18 understanding what the will of the Lord is.18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

In this next scripture is shows us that our reaction to wine is SEEN.

Zechariah 10:7:  . . .  and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

Matthew 9, Mark 2, Luke 5:  the new wine (Holy Spirit) is put into new wine skins (our born again spirit) That is what is happening in the next scripture.

1 Corinthians 6:19: know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you

In the scripture above and below, both compare being filled with the Holy Spirit as having the appearance of being drunk on natural wine; however, the Holy Spirit is the new wine, Supernatural wine.

Jesus also turned water into wine at the wedding...This is a picture of what Jesus did when He died on the cross. He married us, we became one through the blood and our flesh is filled with the Holy Spirit and JOY.

John 2:9,11 tasted the water that was made wine, This beginning of miracles did Jesus …and manifested forth his glory

As we continue, we can see how communion brings us to the same place but from a different angle.

Communion wine –is the body and blood of Jesus

Matthew 26:26-28:  . . . Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27: And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins .

The cup of wine represented the new covenant. We are to be filled with the Holy Spirit and JOY.

He is the vine and we are the branches and we are to bring forth fruit. Fruit is having our prayers answered. We pray, Your kingdom come Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. (Luke 15:10: Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God.)

When we are filled with Joy in the Holy Spirit we will lay hands on people and animals and see them healed, raise the dead, cast out demons etc. That brings us, them and God joy! Its living on earth as we will in Heaven, Gods will!  It is the kingdom of God in us bringing Heaven on earth.

Romans 14:17:  . . . the kingdom of God is …righteousness, and peace, and joy IN the Holy Ghost.

AGAIN we have a comparison of drunk on wine with filled with the Holy Spirit.

**Job 8:19 & 21:  Behold, this is the joy of his way, … 21:  . . . he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

Here we see joy and Laughter connected.

Isaiah 12:3:  Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
